Eyes of inspiration

There are those days that are a huge pain. Nothing we do is able to compensate for that immense feeling of desperation that is like a huge monster wave that is about to collapse on top of you. Scary isn’t it, but, as there always is a but; we can overcome this. The real question is, can we not feel anguish or the overwhelming feeling of fear? Tough question, since we all have feelings. And anguish comes naturally. But there might be a way to combat our negative impulses; it starts with our eyes.

It is the sight that frights!

Every had something come really close to your eye, and immediately you close your eyelids? That is the body’s natural defense mechanism. Now, change it the near miss from the eye to a near miss in life. We could naturally cover and hide ourselves from potential danger. For example, our business isn’t coming along as we had hoped. Or bills are piling up faster than we can pay them. We could drop everything and hide. What is worst is that, those who aren’t so cheery about us and our goals, could start to react to our instinct in a negative way. True, it could take some time for them to come to realise what’s actually happening to us (if we keep it in the hush hush). But still, why go through all that pain; it’s not worth giving up so much of ourselves.

“It’s not worth giving up so much of ourselves.”

The conjunction…of the universe.

As we try to find the way out from our chasm, we need to connect our dots. That my friends, is the only way we are able to move from point ‘A’ to point ‘B’ in a steady growth. Perhaps it doesn’t sound all that feasible, and you know, you’re right! How can we successfully move from a point in our life that, probably seems hopeless to us. I’ll go back to using of niches. Let’s just say for argument sake, we want a certificate under our belt. Just so that we can ‘whip it out’ any time we need to. Perhaps we go looking for a course, or class that offers a certificate of completion, and we have become ‘X’ professional freelancer; see? We can effectively use this ad our tool, or our greatest weapon (lol, such violence!). But the point is: ‘we have a certificate of completion!” It doesn’t have to be like this in every instance, but it would be nice to have one. I always like keeping myself prepared, just in case something should arise.

The eyes of inspiration.

Naturally, after having found a balance between the chaos, you can then proceed forward with you next step. For me, it took me some time to sort out my ‘wants’ and ‘likes.’ I feel like if we don’t try, we may never be able to get to where we want to go in life. True, things do get hard and scary at times, but that is the beauty in it. We can push through that. I’ll share a true backstory; I didn’t like numbers and integers, and all that stuff. To be honest, I am terrible at math, but that doesn’t stop me from doing accounting. I know, it’s kind of strange, but it’s true. I find myself more alert doing business work rather than solving for ‘x’ (lol). I keep myself occupied finding inspiration in places that I’d never think to look. They say the eyes are the window to your heart; how much of it is true, I’m not sure. One thing I am sure of, if we are filling our eyes with inspiring things, then guess what, we are going to feel inspired. Now the question remains, what will you do when you feel inspired?
